PRC Postpones Veterinary Medicine Licensure Examination due to Typhoon Maring

PRC postpones Veterinary Medicine Licensure Examination due to Typhoon Maring

Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the rescheduling of the Veterinary Medicine Licensure Examination to September 18, 19 and 20 in the same cities of Manila and Cagayan de Oro.

PRC made announcement after the decision to reset the examination originally scheduled on August 20, 21 and 22, 2013.

The postponement of the board examination was made with due consideration of the safety of examinees and examination personnel particularly because of widespread flooding in Metro Manila.  Examinees and examination personnel will supposedly render routes today leading to the examination site at the Manuel L. Quezon University in Quiapo. Due Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Storm 'Maring', streets all over Manila are still inaccessible and impassable. The examination scheduled on the same day in Cagayan de Oro City was also postponed.
