A medical engineer, Dr. Ryan Stone, set her first space shuttle mission accompanied with Matt Kowalsky, a veteran astronaut in his last flight before retiring. Unfortunately, space debris from a satellite crash into the space shuttle, Explorer. The shuttle is almost destroyed leaving Stone and Kowalsky stranded and alone in spacesuits limited with breathable oxygen. The deafening silence left without any chance of rescue. As fear turns to panic, their only way home may go further into terrifying expanse of space.
The movie will hit Philippine theaters on October 3, 2013 in 2D and 3D.
