The 23 year old Filipino-American actress-turned-beauty-queen out-stand the 24 other aspirants and won eight special awards including Best in Fashion Runway, Miss Sports by FILA, Miss Reducin, Miss Olay, Miss Laguna, Miss Bold and Glamorous by Revlon, Miss Figlia and Miss Bench Body.

"There are many risks in joining this pageant, but it's only something that happens once in a lifetime. It's now or never!" said Young.
The young beauty title holder earlier said in one of her interviews that joining the Miss World Philippines was one of the things she always wanted to do and will aim to take the crown in the MISS WORLD pageant.
“I wanna prove to them that well, of course, my goal there is to win it,” she added.
Queenierich Rehman, Miss World Philippines 2012 crowned her successor, Olongapo City's Megan Lynn Young Miss World Philippines 2013. She will be representing the country at this year's prestigious Miss World in Jakarta, Indonesia on September 28.
