Philippine Senatorial Election 2013

On June 30, 2013, elected senators will swore relevant to President Benigno Aquino III's midway term of office.

This years election will be held on May 13, to take 12 out of 24 Senatorial seats. Senators that will be elected will serve up to June 30, 2019 while the 12 current senators elected in 2010 will serve until June 30, 2016.

Philippine election for senate uses plurality-at-large voting, the 12 candidates having the highest number of votes will be elected.

Meanwhile, election for district members of the House of Representatives, local election for provincial governors, provincial legislatures, city mayors, city vice-mayors, city councilors, municipal mayors, municipal vice-mayors, municipal councilors and Partylist representatives will take place on the same date.
