"Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" is an upcoming fantasy adventure movie based on the published phenomenon of Rick Riordan novel.
Sea of Monsters is a sequel to the 2010 film Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief which continues the journey of Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, to find the mythical Golden Fleece and to save the in unsound magical tree that protects their homes from enemies.
The movie will hit theaters on August 7, 2013.
